We were a group of ten- consisting of two families. There was a good mix of kids, teenagers and the middle-aged individual. We realize golf holidays to Florida with this group would go ahead just having to shop golf equipment. I have been on golf trips to many places before but these were generally as part of my seminar tour and so I did not have to slog out the details. Merely other major trip I have planned was a tour to Hawaii with my family and since it was not one of the golf holidays to some unfamiliar place, I did not have to worry relating to what my children would do when my wife and I went golfing! Thankfully for us, we were being joined by another family for the tour. Pete and Martha have been my friends since my school days and Pete shared my enthusiasm for golf. Hence many of the times he would have to sacrifice his golf to keep his family amused.

With our assorted experiences, we decided that when we plan our golf holidays to Florida, we would do it in such a way that no one would feel bored and we would have our share of golf too.

We might not have selected golf holidays to a better location! We stayed at a villa that had more than adequate room for a group of ten. We had our privacy. There were 3 bathrooms plus a spa. What excited my small daughter was the well-maintained swimming pool.

Since Martha was not interested in golf, she, with the big children, was in-charge of the rest of the group. There were several wonderful places to go shopping and Martha and the kids-children were kept busy while we set to playing some serious golf. My wife had a minor injury and so could not play golf the next day. But there was never a dull moment as we enjoyed the golf holidays to Florida. There is an amusement park near by and the ladies and kids ready for the park the next day. They had so much fun that they did not miss us one bit!

Our golf holidays to Florida were few great days of my life. We plan to go on golf holidays to different places each year now. My eldest daughter is showing a lot of interest in golf, so we will have to buy golf equipment for her soon. She may join us in the golf session when we go on golf vacations to any place next time.
